ShipConsole 7.6.4 has arrived and I cannot wait to share with you the new features, enhancements, user interface improvements, and bug fixes in this latest release.

The current release now has multi-language support and account numbers for domestic and international shipments split to drive account selection. Also new in this release is the ability to pull delivery details where the delivery name is different from the delivery ID. Last, but not least, there is a DHL addition for non-Oracle.

There were some issues with label printing so we fixed the bug that generated duplicate labels at the time of shipment. We made enhancements to default number of copies using a profile option, which is set at Ship Method and the bug that generated incorrect labels due to duplication of orders was fixed. This release is available for testing until April 7 after which it will be moved into production.

The Add-On Solutions You Need

ShipConsole now integrates with ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) for filing SED (shippers export declaration). Now, you can save $10.00-$15.00 for every shipment if you are shipping any international package over $2,500.00 in value.

The following solutions can be automated in Oracle E-Business Suite as a concurrent program or can be used within the shipping page of ShipConsole. If you are interested in any of these features, click here to contact us.

Freight Shopping: Now, ShipConsole customers can automatically select the best carrier/service level (Oracle ship method) from their list of negotiated carriers for every shipment based on shipping rate and transit time. Here is a 2 minute demo of the Freight Shopping solution.

Denied Party Screening: ShipConsole Denied Party Screening solution provides customers easy-to-use options that quickly and efficiently screen customers, suppliers and trading partners against a comprehensive database of international restricted and denied party lists. There are a number of lists that will be checked including U.S. Government Agency Sources as well as Foreign and other agency sources.

Address Validation: Eliminate shipment delays with seamless Oracle integrated solution that dramatically improves your address data quality through real-time address verification for an individual address or high volume addresses.

Announcing ShipConsole for Oracle SCM Cloud

We are excited to announce the release of ShipConsole for Oracle SCM Cloud! If you are planning to migrate from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud, we can help you to migrate ShipConsole as well. Please reach out to us for a demonstration.

ShipConsole now available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace

ShipConsole is the first Multi-Carrier Shipping solutions to be made available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Inclusion in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace follows Oracle’s validation of ShipConsole as an enterprise-grade solution able to meet Oracle’s best practices for integrating with Oracle Cloud ERP. Now Oracle Cloud ERP customers can realize the same gains in shipping efficiency and cost reduction that so many Oracle E-Business Suite customers have already experienced with the ShipConsole on-premises solution. Here is a 2 minute demo for ShipConsole and Oracle SCM Cloud customers.

This is a robust cloud based solution for a non-warehouse shipping environment, which does not need Oracle logins. This can be used for shipping with third-party logisitics (3PL) or on a campus environment to perform inbound and outbound shipping.
